About
Melinda Salisbury is the three-time Carnegie nominated and bestselling author of multiple young adult novels, including the Sin Eater's Daughter series, the State of Sorrow duology, and Hold Back the Tide.
Her first novel, THE SIN EATER'S DAUGHTER, was the bestselling UK YA debut novel of 2015, and collectively her books have been nominated and shortlisted for multiple national and international awards and accolades, including the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, the YA Book Prize, the Edgar Awards in the United States, the 2016 and 2019 and 2021 Carnegie medals, Eason's YA Book of the Month, and more. Her books have been published in fifteen countries, to date.

She lives on the East Sussex coast and is a passionate vegan and amateur naturalist. Her agent is Claire Wilson, at Rogers, Coleridge and White Literary Agency, London.
